James 1:2
Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, [knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.] For this week my verse was James 1:2 I added verse 3 to it because it felt important to add that context. This goes really well with my verse from last week. Life is not easy, at all. Life is hard, you get one curve ball thrown at you after the next and you seem like you can't catch a break. It's so easy to get caught up in all the bad and let it wear you down. It happens to everyone. It's easier said than done, I know personally very well how hard that is. I think we often overlook how much strength and courage it takes to admit that you aren't okay and admit that you need help and really lean in to your faith; because it really does take a lot to do that. When life gets rough we need to focus on the lesson we can learn and in turn when someone else is facing a similar trial we now have the tools to help them. No one struggles alone, no mat...
