Genesis 50:20

 "As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to preserve many people alive." 

Yet again, I'm behind in my posts but that life sometimes; oh well. This week I was given Genesis 50:20 to read on. This is one of those verses that I just keep reading over and over again. It really makes me think about awesome God really is and all the control he really has over everything. Yes, bad things happen in this world, doesn't matter how good you are or anything like that. As long as evil exists in this world bad things will happen. That's where two things come in to play. One of them is we have the choice on how we will act. Will we give in to the bad things and let it affect the rest of the situation, or will we tackle the evil and look for the lesson and the blessing in it. That's where the second parts comes in. 

We need to trust the God has the situation under control and that no matter what evil intent there was ,God can change it for the greater good. Yes, of course it will be a painful process for us and it will most likely suck, but one thing I've learned is that's how we grow. The pain and hurts are the things that break us down and we have to be broken down to be rebuilt.
